How to check wedding venue maps before sharing an invitation
Make venue directions useful with a complete location, the right entrance and a real phone test before guests travel.

Is a map link enough?
No. Pair the map with the venue name, locality or address, city and country. A venue name can match several places, and the map result may lead to the wrong entrance. Confirm the result with the venue or a person who knows the location before approving your invitation.
Write one complete venue field
Noor’s initial brief uses one Venue field and builds a Google Maps search link from it. Include enough information to distinguish the actual location. “Royal Hall” is less useful than “[Venue name], [street or locality], [city], [country]”. Check spelling carefully; the search result depends on what is entered.
Test the entrance guests will use
Open the link on a phone and compare the result with the venue’s confirmed location. Ask whether the guest entrance differs from the hotel lobby, service gate or parking entrance. Add a concise arrival note if the distinction matters, subject to the invitation layout agreed with Noor.
Keep transport promises accurate
State a pickup point and departure time only for transport that has been arranged. If guests arrange their own journey, say so without implying a hosted shuttle. Do not publish a private home address as a convenient landmark unless the household has agreed to share it.
Recheck if the venue changes
Update the written venue and map together. Test the new link, check every event card and send a direct correction to affected guests. A website update does not guarantee that everyone will reopen the link or see a refreshed social preview. Keep a local contact available for last-minute directions.
Questions couples ask
Why does a venue map sometimes show the wrong location?
A search can match another venue with a similar name or lead to a different entrance. Use a complete venue description and verify the result locally.
