This Privacy Notice explains how Noor Invitations ("Noor Invitations", "we" or "us") processes digital personal data when you enquire, request a reservation, create an invitation or submit an RSVP.
What we collect
We collect the information you choose to submit: your name, WhatsApp number, email address, wedding and event details, messages, RSVP responses, approved photographs or media, and technical information needed for secure sessions and form protection. We do not collect card details on this website.
If you allow optional demo activity in Language & privacy preferences, we privately record the names you submit, the designs opened and the event time to understand interest in our collection. Declining this choice does not prevent trying demos. Demo activity is retained for up to 30 days. It is not published.
Cookies, language and currency
Essential session cookies secure forms and authenticated areas. Browser storage remembers your language, country and privacy choices for up to six months. Optional demo activity is off until you allow it, and can be disabled through the Language & privacy control. We do not install advertising cookies. Country detection uses country.is, and indicative currency rates use ExchangeRate-API; these providers receive your IP address when your browser requests their service, but no submitted names, wedding details or form content. Country lookup is approximate and can be corrected in preferences. Converted prices are estimates; final order quotes remain in INR. Currency rates are cached in your browser for up to 24 hours.
Why we use it
We use this data to respond to your request, prepare and personalise your invitation, provide service updates, confirm availability and pricing, support your account or RSVP, protect the service, and comply with applicable law. We do not use reservation details for unrelated advertising without separate consent.
Service notifications
When email delivery is enabled, Resend processes your email address and service messages for reservation confirmations and your published invitation link. When SMS recovery is enabled, Twilio Verify processes your mobile number and verification requests to restore your private brief. These messages support your request; they are not marketing. Provider credentials and notification queues remain outside the public website folder. Notification records are retained for up to 30 days.
Consent and public invitations
Your reservation data is processed after you give specific consent at the form. You may withdraw that consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out. Wedding content is kept private while it is a draft. Content you approve for publication becomes visible to anyone who receives or forwards its public invitation link.
Storage, sharing and retention
Guest responses, contact records, credentials, private uploads and unapproved drafts are kept in private server storage outside the public website folder. Access is limited to authorised Noor Studio or customer portal sessions. We share data only with service providers needed to host, secure, communicate and deliver the service, or when required by law. We retain it only while needed for the stated purpose, an active service relationship, security, dispute handling or a legal obligation, then delete or anonymise it.
Your choices and rights
You may ask for a summary of your personal data and processing activities, correction or completion of inaccurate data, erasure when retention is no longer required, withdrawal of consent, grievance redressal, or nomination of another individual where applicable. To protect you, we may verify your email, mobile number or reservation reference before completing a request.
Children's data
This service is intended for adults arranging celebrations. Do not submit a child's personal data unless you are their parent or lawful guardian and are authorised to do so. Public invitations should avoid unnecessary personal details about children.
Security and grievances
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards and restrict access to private records. No internet service is risk-free; if a personal-data breach affects you, we will provide notices required by applicable law. For a privacy request or grievance, WhatsApp +91 91834 04002. We will acknowledge the request and respond within the period required by applicable law. If your grievance is not resolved, you may use the remedies available through the Data Protection Board of India when applicable.
This notice is written to align with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the phased Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025. We may update it as commencement dates and operating requirements take effect.
