Wedding invitation privacy when your link travels across family groups

Decide what belongs on the invitation, what should stay private and how to handle forwarded links and guest RSVP information.

01

Is a wedding website link automatically private?

A link can be forwarded by a recipient. Choose visible information on that basis and verify any access controls actually agreed for your invitation. Do not describe a public link as confidential simply because you initially sent it to a small group. Keep sensitive documents and internal planning notes outside it.

02

Separate guest information from host records

Event dates, a venue and directions help guests attend. Passwords, recovery codes, expense records, room assignments and travel documents serve private operational purposes. Keep those categories separate. Guest phone numbers and RSVP responses should not appear in public invitation screenshots or a shareable cover image.

03

Get permission for photographs

Use couple and family photographs you have permission to publish. Consider whether children or guests need to appear at all. If a gallery is not essential, a people-free artwork direction can still communicate the celebration beautifully. Discuss the selected sample’s photograph requirements with Noor before placing the order.

04

Share with context

Send the link with a personal introduction to intended guests. Ask recipients not to circulate private logistical notes beyond the invited group. That request is useful etiquette, not a technical guarantee. Avoid posting an invitation publicly when it includes information you only intended for invited families.

05

Check the real access workflow

Try the invitation in a fresh browser and review what is visible without signing in. Keep editor and RSVP-management credentials private. If access or content needs changing, contact Noor through the agreed support process and inform relevant guests of any practical effect. This guide is a publishing checklist, not a substitute for legal advice.
