Planning your Muslim wedding website from abroad

A remote planning workflow for overseas couples: gather one brief, agree family approvals and test the invitation before sharing.

Can I plan my invitation while living abroad?

Yes. The practical requirement is a complete, checked brief and a clear approval process. Your location does not change the names, venue details and guest information an invitation needs. Start with the wedding’s city and local event times, then appoint one person to coordinate corrections from both families.

02

Prepare one source of truth

Create one working document with the groom and bride names, parents or hosts, each invited event, its date and venue, and the RSVP deadline. Keep a separate list of questions still awaiting confirmation. If a relative in India confirms a venue, ask them to check the actual entrance and address rather than sending a screenshot without context. Do not publish passport details, flight booking references or private family planning notes.

03

Agree how approvals will work

Choose a reviewer from each family and one final decision maker. Send them the same preview and ask for one combined correction list per round. A useful approval message is: “Please check names, dates, venue and the events your guests will attend. Send corrections by [date, time and time zone].” Noor website packages include two revision rounds; additional work is agreed in the quote.

04

Work backwards from sharing day

Collection and Signature websites typically take 3–7 days after complete details; Bespoke typically takes 7–12 days, with the final timeline confirmed before payment. Leave your own time for family review. Buying flights, finalising catering and approving an invitation are different milestones: do not treat an estimated website delivery date as confirmation that every wedding arrangement is ready.

05

Test from both countries

Open the preview on an ordinary phone using mobile data. Ask a trusted person near the venue to check directions, and someone abroad to check date interpretation. Submit one test RSVP, review the link preview and confirm which contact will answer guest questions. Share only after those checks are complete.

Questions couples ask

Do we need to choose a design before gathering details?

You can explore the four samples first, but gather confirmed names, events and venues before submitting the final brief. The chosen package determines the creative scope.
