A calmer invitation approval process for families in different countries

Collect one correction list, nominate family reviewers and distinguish design approval from confirmation of the wedding arrangements.

01

Who should approve the invitation?

Choose one reviewer from each family and one person to send the final combined instructions. Everyone can contribute, but the designer needs a clear current version. This is especially useful when family messages arrive from several countries and time zones.

02

Use three review passes

First check facts: names, hosts, dates, venues and guest eligibility. Then check presentation: wording, line breaks, photographs and supported design choices. Finally test guest actions: directions, RSVP and the sharing preview. Combining these checks deliberately is more effective than repeatedly saying that the design “looks fine”.

03

Ask for specific corrections

A useful note says “Change the Walima arrival time from [old] to [new], local time in [city]”. An unclear note says “Use the later time”. Keep the correction list in one document and mark which items the families have approved. Do not expose private passwords or recovery codes in that shared list.

04

Respect the agreed revision scope

Noor website packages currently include two revision rounds. Send grouped feedback to make those rounds useful. A new concept or additional artwork may require a scope discussion rather than being a minor correction. Confirm any extra work and the resulting timeline before expecting it in the final invitation.

05

Give a clear final approval

Example: “We approve the names, wording, dates, local times, venues, artwork and tested RSVP shown in preview [reference]. Please proceed with the agreed deliverables.” Approval of the invitation does not confirm flights, accommodation or venue contracts. Keep those responsibilities with the relevant organisers.

Questions couples ask

How many revision rounds are included?

Noor website packages currently include two revision rounds. Consolidate family feedback; additional concepts, artwork or revision work are confirmed in the quote.
